Beschreibung
The Alocasia ‚Macrorrhiza‘, also known as elephant ear, originates from the tropics of Asia. This enormous trendy houseplant can be found in almost every urban jungle! With this Alocasia you bring a tropical houseplant into your home with exceptionally large leaves. The leaves of this plant can reach a width of up to 60 centimeters! From the core of the plant, one new leaf grows straight up. After which it unfolds and sinks down. As a result, both the height and width of the plant vary constantly. Keep in mind that the Alocasia needs quite a bit of space and place the houseplant in a place where it can grow in height and width.
Dog Care
The Alocasia prefers a place in the sun. It is advisable to turn the houseplant a quarter turn every now and then, so that the plant does not grow in one direction. Furthermore, the Alocasia likes moist soil. So make sure that the potting soil is always slightly moist. It is important that the roots do not stand in water. It is best to give the Alocasia a little water every day, then a large amount of water at once.
Format
The plants have a height of 60-70cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
