Beschreibung
With the Hyacinth, you’ll bring not only beautiful flowers into your home, but also a piece of Greek mythology. Hyacinthus is the Latin form of the Greek word Huakinthos. According to Greek myth, Huakinthos was beloved by the sun god Apollo. He was mortally wounded while throwing the discus, and from his flowing blood grew a flower, which Apollo named after Huakinthos. The Hyacinthus ‚Gipsy Queen‘ will certainly stand out in your garden with its beautiful peachy-orange color and delightful fragrance. The Hyacinthus combines well with other plants for a versatile garden. The Hyacinth grows to approximately 20-30 cm tall. Plant the bulbs between September and December and celebrate spring when they begin to bloom in April.
Dog Care
Hyacinths do not require much care. The most important thing is that they are planted in a well-drained, light and fertile soil. In case of frost, it is best to put leaves, peat and branches over the bulbs for protection. The bulbs can also be planted in a pot or container. If they are in a container, it is important to protect them from frost with, for example, bubble wrap, straw and leaves.
Format
The flower bulbs have a circumference of approximately 15/16cm upon delivery.
